People Focus–Level 1:
Level 1: (16-20) You show yourself effective in connections to people in your relational network. You have people in your circles of relationship that you can gather to a new church start.
You also show that you can further gather new people or people you have not yet met to a new church. Your biggest question may be how to take who you are and use it to start new churches. If so, we have answers for you. You are a church starter, so lets start some churches!
Your next steps for improvement and growth are to explore with your coach/regional leader where else and how else you can start new churches. Keeping your relational connection to your shepherd and regional leader/coach is critical.
When the time comes that you feel like stopping, these relationships are your key lifeline. Further coaching can also help hone your gathering skills.
Two coaching questions to consider:
- In what ways is your personal vision to reach people to form many new churches in your region growing?
- In what ways have your key relationships grown since engaging GSE concepts?
People Focus–Level 2:
Level 2: (11-15) You can gather people to start a new church. There are areas of growth in your gathering world, but you are in a good place to begin. There are likely some frustrating times awaiting you as you reach out to others in your gathering work.
You have much to offer to a new church start and being part of a GSE team as well as being part of a gathering team is a great option for you as you hone your gathering skill.
A next step for improvement is to clearly connect with your shepherd and regional leader/coach. Your coaching relationship can have the most benefit in seeing your gathering work improve.
Two coaching questions to consider:
- When you are gathering other people, what do you see as normal responses?
- What hinders you most in gathering other people to your new church?
People Focus–Level 3:
Level 3: (Under 11) Since we all are gatherers in some form and level, this part of your life is stirred by what Jesus is doing. This journey can be helpful to you to discover more of what Jesus is stirring in you. You may be a shepherd, you may have other significant service in a GSE church start.
Next steps for you would include some guided prayer focus to discover more of what Jesus is asking of you. As your walk in this journey, keep your heart and mind open to Jesus’ directing you to His work for you in His harvest.
Two coaching questions:
- Since you have hunger to touch other people in Jesus name, what have you learned most about gathering from this assessment that can help you grow?
- What hinders you most in approaching people to gather them?
